Tiesittekö että maailman ensimmäinen "dokudraama"-elokuva oli Robert J. Flaherty:n Nanook of the North?

No sitä ette tienneet että sen aikainen selluloidileffa on hyvin palavaa ja hänen kaksi vuotta kuvauksia teetättänyt teoksensa tuhoutui traagisessa "tupakki-filmirullan-päälle" tyyppisessä episoodissa.

Tästä harmistumatta Robert kasasi kamppeensa ja meni takaisin pohjolaan, jossa sai selville että "Nanook" ei asukkaan iglussa vaan talossa suuren osan elämäänsä. He kuvasivat dokumentin uudelleen nopeassa tahdissa ja täten maailman ensimmäinen dokumenttielokuva on myös ensimmäinen feikkidokumentti.
